File Requirements
We have our own experienced graphic designer on site to work with you designing your artwork. If you choose to use another designer or want to provide your own artwork we ask that you please follow the guidelines below.
Vinyl Cut Lettering & Graphics
- AI or EPS vector files only
- all fonts converted to outlines or graphics
- strokes must be converted to graphics or paths
- all graphics must be embedded (not linked)
- create all artwork to scale or actual size
- all graphics must be welded / trapped
Large Format Printing
- AI or EPS files (a mix of bitmaps and vectors is acceptable)
- JPG, TIF, and PSD files are also accepted
- all fonts converted to outlines or graphics
- photos from your digital camera must be taken at the highest resolution setting
- bitmap images must be at least 150 dpi at actual size (lower dpi may result in poor print quality)
- create all artwork to scale or actual size
We do not accept …
- CDR (Corel Draw) files
- Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, or other office software files
- low resolution images or images taken from websites
- Quark or InDesign files
- PDF files (unless you speak with our designer first)
Providing files not suitable for production may result in artwork fees. Please contact us if you have any questions about filetypes, artwork, or if you would like to schedule a time to meet with our design for a consultation.
